They're still a work in motion. But, they're in motion, and that's a start. The goals will be, broadly, something to do with exercise, something to do with writing, and something to do with money. I've also decided on somewhat of a resolution, to help me with my goals. This year, I'm only going to put my energy into the things that I really care about. I'm hopelessly messy and disorganised. I feel somewhat guilty about both of those things, but at the end of the day, I don't care about either. So, rather than taking time away from the things I do care about - by spending futile time sorting my mail or doing my laundry, when I could instead be exercising or writing, I'm going to give up trying to be organised. If that means that I don't wash a single sock for all of 2012, but I do succeed in writing - something, anything, then so be it. I'll buy new socks. And write a novel sitting atop the pile of old ones. In relation to 2011 - that was the first year, in response to your advice, above, that I ever made 'goals'. And, to my genuine astontishment, I reached, nay, surpassed, two out of three. The third was a crashing failure, but without that I never would have had the other two successes.
